By intentionally building trusting relationships, she creates a safe and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. In addition to her role as a counselor, Amber has experience as a Behavioral Assistant, where she excelled at connecting with youth and understanding their individual wants and needs. She approaches each young person with empathy, patience, and respect, recognizing that every journey is unique. Amber utilizes a variety of counseling techniques and evidence-based strategies to support those who are struggling, thoughtfully tailoring her approach to meet each student where they are.
