Kayla Newsome earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Africana Studies from Stockton University. She has more than 10 years of experience working with marginalized populations and youth in urban communities. Kayla has extensive experience advocating for youth involved with the foster care system and supporting children who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, autism, attention disorders, and behavioral challenges. Her work emphasizes advocacy, resource development, and collaboration with community partners to ensure families receive the support they need. Kayla is passionate about helping youth build brighter futures through empowerment, connection, and compassionate care.
